Oliver Tezcan, CEO, says “Our mission statement is simple: Style Made Easy. Our website has already gone a long way towards helping men dress, look and feel better. We have produced a tastefully curated selection of the world’s best brands, authoritative style blog and industry-leading service proposition whilst always aiming to provide our customers with the best experience of The Idle Man. The natural progression from the website was to create a physical embodiment of our brand through our first Guide Shop. It’s a place where customers can actually feel and try on the products whilst being guided by our in house stylists on what suits their build and size. Once they have the right product and fit, they can have it delivered quickly and easily to their home or office, or collect from the store itself.
The Idle Man was started by CEO and co-founder Oliver Tezcan, former Head Menswear Buyer at ASOS in 2014 after seeing a gap in the market for a purely menswear retailer. Since its inception, it has seen rapid growth with the site now attracting close to 1 million visitors a month. Combining content and commerce has enabled The Idle Man Manual, the sites in house blog, to become one of the biggest mainstream fashion websites in the UK delivering both brand awareness and sales.
The Idle Man’s own label takes centre stage supported by a host of premium brands that include but aren’t limited to: Grenson, Barbour, YMC, Levi’s Vintage, Alpha Industries, Nudie, Lee 101, Red Wing, Novesta, The North Face, Native Union, Global Knives, Laboratory Perfumes, Soulland, Anderson’s Belts, Porter Yoshida, Billionaire Boys Club, Champion and Spiewak.
